Even with less than stellar surf conditions, the Whitney Marie Young Surf Contest in Torrance Beach turned out to be a blast, churning out dozens of competitors to show and compete for some seriously epic prizes on a beautiful day at the beach. From early teens to late 30’s, surfers of all ages came out to show they could still shred the smaller-than-hoped-for waves with some serious style.
