Meeting new people and making new friends is what we’re all about here at Epicology Clothing. And thanks to our new bud Dexter we spent Monday night hanging with Manny Vargas and over 9,000 of our newest comrades.
No that’s not a typo; with over 9,000 people tuning in to BodyBoarding Live’s “Episode 39” we were humbled when Manny called us over to chat with him during his live web cast. A big turn out of local bodyboarders from Malibu all the way down to San Diego turned out to show their support. The night was eventful; episode 39 showcased local photographer Nick Morgans’ work and gave everyone a shot to ask pro body boarder Dave Hubbard a few questions along with many other segments. The South Bay’s very own Turbo Joe hosted the broadcast at his Amigos Tacos Restaurant and hooked everyone up with some tasty burritos and tacos all night.
BodyBoarding Live is a collaboration of companies and riders donating time and support to help make this show a success and help progress the sport. Thanks to Manny Vargas, a former professional bodyboarder and coordinator of the Freak Fest Triple Crown Event, the program has been a success for over a year and half now. 
Manny holds all this down along with working for Crysis Bodyboard Magazine and perfecting his No. 6 signature series board. He’s a busy guy and we can appreciate that because he’s doing it all for the progression of the sport and not dollars.
